It was the opening of the (trout) fishing season, an event of near-religious proportions long-awaited over the long winter months, something akin to a piscatorial resurrection.
Reminded as we are of the opening lines of Norman Maclean's A River Runs Through It, this week's E2MQ addresses fly fishing and comes in FOUR PARTS, Name the Trout; Name the Insect; Name the Dry Fly; and Connect Flies to Bugs. Intermediate prizes will be awarded for each Part and a Grand Prize will be awarded to the overall winner.
Part 1: NAME THE TROUT
Wasn't that easy?
Okay, Part 2: NAME THE INSECT (BUG)
Now, Part 3: NAME THE DRY FLY
Part 4: Each dry fly is named for and relates to one of the insects.
CONNECT FLIES TO BUGS, for example...
F5 goes with B???
Good luck and TIGHT LINES!
